The Connecticut Athletic Trainers' Association (CATA) strives to improve the quality of health care for athletes, patients and clients and enhance the profession of Athletic Training, through leadership, education, and cooperative efforts with other organizations and allied health professions. The CATA is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization.

Public Relations Committee

Mission Statement: The PRC strives to promote the profession of athletic training via media relations, special events, merchandising and promotional item; to serve as a conduit of information concerning all aspects of athletic training throughout the state; and to work in tandem with the public relations committees of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association.
