The Connecticut Athletic Trainers' Association (CATA) strives to improve the quality of health care for athletes, patients and clients and enhance the profession of Athletic Training, through leadership, education, and cooperative efforts with other organizations and allied health professions. The CATA is a 501(c)6 non-profit organization.

MIssion Statement: The CATA COR is to provide and ensure continued opportunity for Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) to receive third party reimbursement in the State of Connecticut. The Committee is charged with educating those involved with reimbursement and revenue issues and to foster an environment in Connecticut, which values the role of the ATC in the health care of the athletic and physically active population.
